The accident
Our client was employed at a factory specialising in the production of plastic containers and moulded plastic covers. While working on a production machine, he encountered a defect and followed the correct internal procedure to clear the blockage.
During this process, the machinery malfunctioned. As a result, his finger was caught in the equipment, causing a severe crushing and cutting injury, leading to the loss of the top half of his finger.
